Business Skills - State or Territory Sponsored Investor
(Provisional) Visa (Subclass 165)

There two stages for visa application in the State or Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) Subclass 165 category. You must first apply for the provisional visa, which is a temporary visa to allow you to come to Australia to start your business here, or join a suitable firm.  When you have been successfully operating a business, or more than one business, for at least 2 years, you can apply for a permanent Business Owner (Residence) Visa Subclass 890, or the State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Residence) Visa, Subclass 893. or the Investor (Residence) Visa 891.

The criteria for entry to Australia as a business skills migrant are complicated and individual.
